An established legal team is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to provide specialist employment law and HR advisory services to a diverse client base, ranging from large listed organisations to SMEs. The role involves advising both employers and senior executives on a wide range of employment-related matters, while delivering commercially focused and pragmatic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing matters
- Managing and conducting employment tribunal proceedings
- Supporting clients through redundancy processes, restructures, and organisational change
- Providing strategic employment law advice to senior management teams and boards
- Advising senior executives and professionals on employment-related issues
- Supporting business acquisitions and disposals, including advising on TUPE and the employment aspects of corporate transactions
- Working closely with corporate teams to provide integrated legal support on transactions
- Conducting employment due diligence and providing commercial analysis on investments and business opportunities
- Drafting and negotiating employment-related documentation, including service agreements and settlement agreements
