Oculus Legal Group are partnered with a leading law firm who are looking for an Employment Lawyer to join their growing team!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced employment law specialist to play a key role within the firm's national legal knowledge team. Based out of Nottingham, Birmingham, or Manchester, this hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home while staying connected to one of our regional offices.
This position focuses on supporting the wider employment law practice by developing and maintaining key legal resources, such as guidance notes, template documents, and internal toolkits. You’ll help design and deliver engaging training for both internal colleagues and external clients, and be a point of contact for complex legal queries.
You’ll also contribute to thought leadership initiatives, collaborate with knowledge partners outside the firm, and support new joiners by helping them understand our legal resources and systems.
You will need to be a qualified lawyer with a strong foundation in employment law—ideally with several years of post-qualification experience. Previous exposure to knowledge or professional support work is a plus, but not essential. You’ll need to be a clear communicator, a strong legal writer, and someone who enjoys working autonomously on projects that make a real impact.
Analytical thinking, a passion for sharing legal insights, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments are all qualities that will help you thrive in this role.
