A well established Legal 500 law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its respected claimant PI team. This opportunity would suit someone with solid EL/PL litigation experience who is confident managing their own caseload and is looking to progress within a supportive and forward-thinking practice. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of employer’s liability and public liability matters, including both Portal and non-Portal claims, with a strong focus on fast track litigation and some exposure to multi-track work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running a full caseload of EL/PL files independently from instruction through to settlement or trial
  • Managing litigated and pre-litigated personal injury claims
  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence and court paperwork
  • Providing clear, practical advice and maintaining excellent client care throughout the process
  • Working towards fee-earning and performance targets
  • Supporting the ongoing development of client and referrer relationships
  • Contributing to business development initiatives where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with Litigation Rights
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within claimant personal injury litigation
  • Strong technical understanding of: EL/PL claims processes, CPR and litigation procedure, Pre-Action Protocols for Personal Injury, The Damages Claims Portal
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision
