A leading multi office Midlands law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its growing conveyancing team on a fully remote basis. The Role:
You will manage your own caseload with full autonomy, handling matters from instruction through to post-completion. The role offers exposure to a wide range of residential property work, with the support of an experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion
- Handle a full caseload independently, advising on matters of varying value and complexity
- Advise on sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, registered and unregistered titles
- Deal with re-mortgages, plot purchases, transfers of equity, part-exchange, and shared ownership matters
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and introducers
- Respond to clients and third parties on technical legal enquiries
- Review titles and raise enquiries on complex freehold and leasehold matters
- Prepare detailed contract reports for clients
- Draft and approve contract clauses, including leasehold retentions and indemnity policies
- Review leasehold packs and deal with enquiries
- Support the development of the department, including training and supervising Conveyancing Administrators, Paralegals, and Trainee Solicitors
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing
- Confident managing a caseload independently from start to finish
- Client-focused with excellent communication skills
- Ambitious and keen to contribute to the growth of the department
