A prestigious Legal 100 national law firm is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate (5+ PQE) to join its established and growing corporate team in Birmingham. This opportunity offers a flexible hybrid working model (three days in the office, two days remote), a competitive salary of £85,000+, plus a bonus of up to 20%, dependent on experience and performance.
The role is predominantly transactional and would suit an experienced corporate solicitor with strong exposure to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and commercial contracts. The firm is keen to speak with individuals who are ambitious, commercially astute, and motivated to continue developing their practice while contributing to the wider growth of the team.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Be a strong team player with excellent client management and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent drafting skills, and commercial awareness
- Be proactive, organised, and confident managing complex matters
- Enjoy collaborating with colleagues and supporting the development of junior lawyers
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality client service and managing matters proactively
- Working collaboratively across teams
- Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the corporate practice
- Participating in training, mentoring, and professional development initiatives
