We are working with a leading Legal 150 law firm in the East Midlands who are looking to recruit a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) to join their growing team in Nottingham.
This role has a clear leaning towards commercial contract work, making it an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer who wants to build deep experience in high-quality commercial work, while also gaining exposure to selected corporate and broader business advisory matters.
It is ideal for someone who enjoys a commercial-focused caseload, values variety, and is open to working across different transactional and advisory workstreams within a supportive, well-established team.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial contracts, including agency, distribution, franchising, and manufacturing agreements, Construction Agreements
- Advising on procurement, outsourcing, consultancy arrangements, IT projects, software licensing, and hosting agreements
- Supporting IP licensing, brand protection, and wider intellectual property-related commercial matters
- Assisting with selected corporate matters including joint ventures, shareholder agreements, investment arrangements, and share option schemes (including EMI schemes)
- Advising on corporate governance, directors’ duties, and regulatory compliance, including GDPR and wider data protection obligations
NQ–4 PQE solicitor with corporate and/or commercial experience. Strong interest in commercial contracts is essential, with some exposure to corporate work beneficial. Someone confident working across different sectors and comfortable managing a busy, high-quality caseload.
