Job Description

Residential Property Solicitor – Sussex

The opportunity

Not every Residential Property role is about simply picking up another caseload.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established Sussex firm with a genuinely strong Residential Property team - a department known for its client relationships, quality of work and supportive approach.

The team is made up of experienced property lawyers who work closely together and take real pride in what they do. You'll have people around you who are happy to share knowledge and support you, while giving you the independence to run your own matters and develop your career.

Why this team?

The firm has built a strong reputation across Sussex and has developed long-standing relationships with both private clients and professional contacts.

The Residential Property team is an important part of that reputation. It's a busy department, but the focus isn't simply on volume, quality, service and client relationships matter.

You'll be joining a team where your experience is valued, your development is encouraged and there is genuine scope to progress.

What will your day-to-day look like?

You'll manage a varied residential property caseload covering matters such as:

  • Freehold & leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • New-build transactions
  • Lease extensions
  • Contract and title work
  • Client and lender liaison
  • Managing matters through to exchange and completion

You'll have plenty of client contact and will be trusted to take ownership of your files from instruction through to completion.

Interested?

If you're considering your next move and the team you join is just as important to you as the role itself, this is one worth discussing.

Get in touch for a confidential conversation and I'll give you the full picture on the firm, the team and the opportunity.
