Commercial Property Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive

Salary: £45,000-£60,000

Location: Huntingdon

Firm: Well-Established Multi-Office Regional Law Firm

Experience Required: 1+ Years PQE

Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Flexible Working

The Firm

Oculus Legal Group is proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded multi-office regional law firm that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional commercial property advice to businesses, landowners, developers and investors across the region.

Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative department where you'll receive genuine support from experienced colleagues whilst benefiting from exposure to a consistently high calibre of commercial property work.

The Opportunity

Working closely with a highly respected Commercial Property Partner, you'll gain hands-on exposure to complex and high-value transactions that will significantly broaden your technical expertise and commercial awareness.

Rather than being left to manage files in isolation, you'll benefit from regular mentoring and guidance, giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge across a range of commercial property matters whilst continuing to build confidence in your own practice.

The quality and variety of work makes this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career within a supportive environment that actively encourages learning and professional development.

Your workload will include:

  • Commercial landlord and tenant matters, including grants, assignments, surrenders and LTA 1954 renewals.
  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.
  • Property finance and secured lending transactions.
  • Easements, options and overage agreements.
  • Conditional sale agreements and promotion agreements.
  • Site assembly, ransom strips and sub-station leases.
  • Acting for landowners in disposals to developers and advising on development projects.

Career Development

This role offers far more than simply managing a caseload. You'll work alongside a recognised Commercial Property Partner who is committed to mentoring and developing junior members of the team, providing regular exposure to technically challenging matters and encouraging greater responsibility as your experience grows.

Whether your ambition is to strengthen your technical expertise, develop specialist knowledge or progress towards Associate and Partnership level, you'll be supported every step of the way within a firm that genuinely invests in its people.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Commercial Property Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives with 1+ years' PQE who are looking to continue developing their expertise within a highly respected team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience across a broad range of commercial property matters.
  • Excellent technical ability and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
  • A genuine ambition to continue developing within a supportive and growing team.

Benefits

  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
  • Death in service / life assurance
  • Critical illness insurance
  • Eye care vouchers
  • Structured career development and genuine progression opportunities

Next Steps

If you're looking for a role that combines excellent quality work, close mentorship from a leading Commercial Property Partner and genuine opportunities to develop your technical expertise within a supportive regional firm, I'd be happy to have a confidential conversation.
