A modern, fast-growing Legal 500 law firm is expanding its Debt Recovery and Litigation teams following continued client growth across finance, local authority, and housing sectors. This is not a traditional high-street litigation role. The firm operates as a commercially focused legal services business with a strong national client base and a high-volume but well-structured workflow environment.
You will join a busy and expanding sub-team handling a steady pipeline of debt recovery litigation work, with strong internal support and clear processes in place.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of debt recovery and civil litigation matters, working within a specialist team. Key responsibilities include:
- Running a full caseload of debt recovery matters from instruction through to enforcement
- Advising on litigation strategy and recovery options
- Handling matters for key clients across finance, local authority, or housing sectors
- Progressing claims efficiently within a high-volume but structured environment
- Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth case progression
Candidate Requirements
The firm is seeking:
- Qualified Solicitors or CILEX / Chartered Legal Executives
- Experience in debt recovery or civil litigation (NQ+)
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with good organisation and time management
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
