A well-established regional law firm is looking to strengthen its Commercial Property team with the appointment of a Solicitor or Associate at 2+ years' PQE.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a well-supported and established team where there is plenty of variety in the work, genuine scope to develop, and clear opportunities for progression.

The Role

You'll work across a broad range of general commercial property matters, with no requirement to specialise in one particular area. The caseload will include:

  • Handling a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Acting on a range of commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
  • Managing a significant volume of landlord and tenant matters, acting for both landlords and tenants.
  • Advising clients on the commercial and practical aspects of their property transactions.
  • Taking responsibility for your own matters while having access to support from experienced colleagues.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact.
  • Working closely with Partners and senior members of the team, providing valuable exposure to more complex and high-value matters.

The majority of the wider Commercial Property team is based in Peterborough, creating a strong and established team environment around you.

There is also the opportunity to work closely with experienced Partners, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning from senior members of the team.

About You

The firm is looking for someone with at least 2 years' PQE and a solid grounding in Commercial Property.

You'll ideally be someone who

  • Has experience handling a broad commercial property caseload.
  • Is comfortable running matters with a good degree of autonomy.
  • Has strong technical and client management skills.
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
  • Is commercially minded and keen to continue developing their career.

The role is open to Solicitors and Associates with 2–5 years' PQE.
