My client is a highly reputable Legal 500 ranked firm in East Anglia, who are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Employment Solicitor (NQ–5 years' PQE) to join their highly regarded Employment team. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of contentious and non‐contentious employment law work, with direct client contact and the support of an experienced, collaborative team. You will advise both businesses and individuals locally and nationally, delivering practical, high‐quality advice on interesting and often complex matters.

You will be:

  • Delivering high‐quality employment law advice to businesses and individuals
  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non‐contentious matters
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, service agreements, settlement agreements and workplace policies and procedures
  • Advising on and managing Employment Tribunal matters, including drafting ET1s, ET3s and related documentation
  • Meeting clients both face‐to‐face and remotely
  • Keeping up to date with developments in employment law and best practice

About you:

  • A strong academic background, with a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience advising on employment law matters
  • The ability to manage your own caseload effectively while supporting the wider team
  • Strong communication skills and a client‐focused approach
  • High‐quality drafting skills and sound judgement on costs, scope and risk
