An exciting Debt Recovery Paralegal has become available with an established Top 150 national law firm based in Birmingham offering hybrid working.
You'll be joining a supportive and established Litigation (Debt Recovery) Team with an excellent benefits package. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, award-winning firm with a strong reputation in the legal market.
- Manage defended debt and insolvency matters from instruction through to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and prepare legal documentation, including court applications, witness statements, defences, statutory demands, and enforcement proceedings.
- Advise clients on dispute resolution, insolvency processes, enforcement strategies, settlement options, and recovery prospects.
- Support business development initiatives through client engagement, networking events, and collaboration with the wider team.
Requirements:
- 1 year's experience in debt recovery.
- Strong team player with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Adaptable, flexible, and calm under pressure.
