I am working with a highly regarded regional law firm looking to appoint a Solicitor to join its Housing & Regeneration (Litigation) team in Preston. The team is recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers for its expertise in social housing and regeneration matters, advising a broad range of housing providers. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team, handling a varied caseload of litigation matters within a well-established practice.
The Opportunity
This is a diverse Housing Litigation role offering exposure to a wide range of matters, including:
- Housing management litigation
- Anti-social behaviour (ASB)
- Possession proceedings
- Injunctions and enforcement action
- Wider housing and regeneration disputes
You will manage your own caseload while also supporting senior colleagues on more complex matters. The role offers strong client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with social housing providers, delivering practical and commercially focused advice. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development and play a key role in the continued growth of the team.
About You
The firm is ideally seeking a Solicitor or CILEX with around 1–3 years’ PQE in housing, property litigation, or a related area. You will demonstrate:
- Experience managing a litigation caseload
- Knowledge of housing law, property litigation, or social housing
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client-facing ability
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
- Experience in ASB matters, advocacy, or business development would be advantageous but not essential.
