An established and forward-thinking Legal 500 firm is seeking an ambitious and experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Property team as an Assistant Head of Conveyancing. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and have a clear pathway towards stepping into a future Head of Department position.
The Opportunity
- You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload while supporting the wider department across multiple office locations.
- The position combines fee-earning responsibilities with mentoring, team development and business growth initiatives.
- You will also:
- Support the day-to-day running and development of the department
- Mentor and assist junior colleagues on more complex matters
- Conduct performance and file reviews
- Work alongside senior management on departmental strategy and KPI achievement
- Support business development and networking initiatives
- Assist with maintaining compliance standards including AML and Lexcel requirements
- Help build and strengthen the office's profile and culture
You will initially have paralegal support and the opportunity to train and develop junior team members.
