Job Description
We’re looking for a PPC & Paid Media Analyst who enjoys building campaigns that deliver real commercial impact and not just impressions and clicks. At OptiCommerce, you’ll manage and optimise multi-market paid campaigns for independent optical retailers and premium eyewear brands across the UK, Ireland, North America and the Nordics. You’ll work within a specialist performance team where PPC, SEO, content, analytics and web strategy are tightly integrated. This position is based in our London office in Chiswick and operates on a hybrid working model, with three days per week onsite. This role offers ownership, variety, and clear progression into senior performance strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Campaign management
- Build and optimise Google Ads campaigns from initial brief through to launch and scale
- Manage budgets across multiple markets and currencies
- Execute keyword strategies aligned to commercial intent and client objectives
- Write and test high‑performing ad copy
- Optimise Smart Bidding strategies (CPA / ROAS / value‑based)
- Develop remarketing and audience targeting strategies
- Improve conversion rates through landing page insight and testing
- Identify growth opportunities using Auction Insights and competitor positioning
- Monitor campaign pacing and performance against targets
- Identify and resolve performance issues efficiently
- Work within GA4 and Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate tracking
- Use call tracking and conversion attribution tools
- Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards
- Translate performance data into actionable client insights
- Work alongside SEO, content and web teams on integrated campaigns
- Contribute ideas to improve campaign structure and agency processes
- Support client strategy conversations with performance insights
What we’re looking for
- Essential
- 3+ years’ experience managing Google Ads campaigns, OR 2+ years’ agency‑side PPC experience
- Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking and attribution
- Comfortable working within GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Experience optimising toward CPA / ROAS targets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities
- Excellent written English and communication skills
- Microsoft Ads experience
- Meta Ads experience
- Looker Studio reporting experience
- Experience with call tracking platforms
- Experience working with e‑commerce or appointment‑driven businesses
