Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Authorised Person (SAP), you will hold a critical role in ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of high voltage electrical systems within the organisation.

What You Will Bring
  • Qualified Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with extensive experience in high voltage electrical systems operation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations, standards, and best practices, with a focus on high voltage switching operations and electrical safety rules.
  • Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and executing electrical switching operations for high voltage equipment, including substations, switchgear, and transformers.
  • Technical expertise in high voltage electrical systems, equipment, and protective devices, with the ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and anomalies and implement corrective actions.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field, with additional certifications such as HV Authorised Person (HVAP), HV Switching Operations, or HV Safety Rules is essential.
  • Strong leadership and decision‑making skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and make sound judgments in high‑pressure situations.

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical switching operations, as well as providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
