We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse and Yard Manager to oversee our stores operations based in Leeds. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient utilisation of space and resources, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supervising the yard operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse:

  • Supervise and lead warehouse and yard staff, ensuring a high level of performance and adherence to safety protocols
  • Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, picking.
  • Implement and enforce best practices in warehouse operations to enhance productivity and minimise errors
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfil orders and resolve any operational issues
  • Utilise inventory management software and systems effectively
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Ensure that equipment gets to site
  • Job packs are organised for distribution to site

W hat we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in warehouse and yard management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards
  • Full UK Drivers License
  • Class1 Licence (preferable)
