  • Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts, CVRs, and commercial performance updates.
  • Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, payments, and final accounts.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities to maximise project performance.
  • Support project teams with contractual advice and commercial guidance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and agree project and subcontract final accounts.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within utilities, infrastructure, construction, engineering, or a similar sector.
  • Experience working under NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience working on National Grid, transmission, or major infrastructure projects.
  • Bonus if you have experience managing Compensation Events and Early Warning processes under NEC contracts.
  • It would be great if you have experience preparing CVRs, forecasts, and commercial reporting for complex projects.
  • It would be great if you've worked within regulated utility or framework environments.
  • Working towards or holding professional accreditation with RICS, CICES, or a similar body would be advantageous.
