OCU are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join the team based in Shetland.
As the Office Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the office and supporting the overall administration of the business.
You will be responsible for coordinating office functions, managing administrative processes, and fostering a supportive work environment that enables the organisation to achieve its goals effectively.
You will also need to be able to
- Supervise and support administrative staff, ensuring high levels of performance and morale.
- Manage travel bookings, including flights, accommodation and itineraries.
- Act as the main point of contact for staff regarding office-related issues.
- Work closely with other members of the OCU Group to develop relationships and improve shared ways of working.
- Understand and operate within office budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant UK regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
- Act as the Fire Warden or First Aider where required and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety laws.
To be successful: You will need 2 years experience in a similar role. and have demonstrable competence with Microsoft suite of software.
Have the ability to communicate with people at all levels, up to Executive leadership, and have strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
