OCU Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced ATEX/CompEx Electrician to join our team supporting operations in Milford Haven. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served Electrician who is passionate about safety, compliance, and delivering high-quality work in a dynamic field-based environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough ATEX/CompEx inspections in line with IEC and BS EN 60079-17 standards. You will ensure that all risks and non-compliances are identified and reported clearly and promptly, while maintaining accurate records using a site-issued ATEX tablet. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to enhance site safety and compliance, and your ability to manage time effectively will be key to delivering inspections and corrective work on schedule.

Requirements Overview

  • Time-served Electrician with CompEx EX01-04 certification.
  • Strong knowledge of BS EN 60079-14 & 17.
  • Skilled in glanding, terminating, and installing cable systems.
  • Proficient in interpreting wiring diagrams and classification reports.
  • Willing to travel to Milford Haven site.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Safety Passport CCSNG/JIB or equivalent
  • Inspection & Testing Certification 2391, 2391-52, or 2394 & 2395
  • ECS Gold Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
