HV/ AIS Operations Manager OCU are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HV/ AIS Operations Manager to join our growing team based in Neath. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities across the business, ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of our services within large substation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production, logistics, facilities management, and resource allocation to deliver services efficiently and safely.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, monitor performance through KPIs, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence across the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or Senior HV operational leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrable experience in process improvement and operational optimisation.
- Strong commercial awareness and resource management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational management systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or similar methodologies would be highly advantageous.
- Experience within the utilities, power, engineering, construction, infrastructure sectors is essential.
