OCU Group are looking for skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to work on Projects across the UK. The Multi-Skilled Operative will form part of a flexible, competent civils team delivering a wide range of groundworks and infrastructure activities. Operatives must be capable of working across multiple disciplines and operating plant where qualified.
To be successful you will need to be competent in the following:
- Drainage installation
- RC works (steel fixing, formwork, concrete placement)
- Earthworks and aggregate road construction
- Fencing installation
- Trenching and ducting
- Cable pulling up to 400kV
- General civil works
Additional responsibilities include:
- Operate plant and machinery where trained and authorised
- Follow method statements, risk assessments, and site instructions
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
- Work collaboratively with foremen and other operatives
- Support weekend working and overtime as required
You must be able to show proven Skills and Experience in:
- Civils / groundworks
- CSCS card (Blue or Gold preferred)
- Competent in multiple civils disciplines
- Strong safety awareness and team-working attitude
You will be required to hold:
- CPCS or NPORS (360 Excavator, Dumper, Roller)
- Confined Spaces
- Cable pulling / utility experience
- NRSWA
- Lifting Operations / Slinger Signaller
- SSSTS
- First Aid / Plant vehicle marshal / Banksman
