Throughout 2025, OCU Group has been experiencing a sustained period of growth and expansion. Due to this and our continued work winning success, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team based in the Levenshulme!

As a Land Surveyor you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements to identify land boundaries, prepare maps, and provide data relevant to engineering, construction, and land development projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct topographic, boundary, and site surveys using GNSS, Total Station, and laser scanning equipment.
  • Analyse data using GIS and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Prepare and present detailed survey reports, maps, and plans to clients, engineers, and architects.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Establish legal boundaries for properties based on legal deeds and titles.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers to provide accurate geospatial data.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Geomatics, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in land surveying or geospatial data collection in the UK.
  • Proficiency in survey equipment and software (Leica, Trimble, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Understanding of UK land law, mapping standards, and Ordnance Survey practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence (essential for site work).
