The purpose of this role is to support the Security Architect and Security Engineer with the day-to-day security activities at OCU Group. We are a Microsoft-first cloud-first environment supporting a national and diverse workforce servicing critical national infrastructure clients. The business is growing at pace and this role will support OCU Group to stay secure and maintain best practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working to support and maintain the company’s IT accreditations including ISO 27001:2022 and Cyber Essentials Plus
- Supporting on security projects by utilizing personal knowledge and skills
- Supporting in the creation of Security Education Training and Awareness content
- Supporting in the management of OCU Group’s security posture and controls
- Routinely auditing the configuration of the various platforms OCU Group uses
- Supporting the SOC by investigating and responding to security alerts
Skills and Experience
Training will be provided in all key areas but the following will aid the candidate in their success:
- Understanding of the Microsoft product stack including Azure and Entra ID
- Understanding of the basic principles of Information Security
- Familiarity with basics of coding
- Curiosity about IT Security
