We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to provide comprehensive support across a wide range of HR functions within a dynamic UK-based organisation. The role supports both employees and managers, delivering expert guidance on employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and delivery of the onboarding process
- Assist the Talent team with recruitment administration and contract processing
- Contribute to HR initiatives, policies, and programmes that support engagement, performance, and retention
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
- Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and attendance matters
- Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on employee relations issues and processes
- Support performance and absence management, including long-term sickness and occupational health referrals
- Advise on restructuring and redundancy processes, ensuring fair consultation and selection practices
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Deliver training on employee relations and people management to support manager capability
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide general HR administrative support as required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or proven experience in a similar HR Advisor role
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Discreet and professional, with experience handling sensitive and confidential information
- Confident user of HR systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation
- Experience managing TUPE processes
- Experience working with Trade Unions
- Background in the Construction or Utilities sector
