Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Civil Engineer to join our design team. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects focusing on network systems substations battery storage facilities and largescale solar farms. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career while contributing to the transition toward sustainable energy solutions. Duties and Responsibilities Design Development : Assist in creating detailed civil engineering designs including layouts for substations battery storage facilities and solar farms. Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to inform project designs. Prepare design drawings specifications and calculations in line with project requirements and industry standards. Project Support : Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical engineers project managers and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery. Support in the preparation of technical reports design documents and cost estimates. Technical Assurance : Ensure designs comply with health safety and environmental standards as well as relevant local regulations and codes. Participate in design reviews and implement feedback to optimise solutions. Innovation and Sustainability: Incorporate innovative and sustainable design principles into projects to meet client and environmental objectives. Continuous Development: Engage in training and development programs to build expertise in civil design and renewable energy projects. Skills and Experience: Essential: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Knowledge of structural and geotechnical principles relevant to infrastructure design. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Desirable: Familiarity with renewable energy projects (e.g. solar farms energy storage). Understanding of drainage foundation design or roadworks.
