Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver energy and utilities projects across multiple sites in Scotland. The business has significant secured work and a strong, growing long-term pipeline, offering excellent stability, long-term project exposure, and clear career progression. Based out of Glasgow or Edinburgh, you will manage multiple concurrent projects within a travelable area across the Central Belt, delivering complex electrical and utility infrastructure works while working closely with DNOs, ICPs, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management of various projects, from initiation through to completion
- Management of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) works
- Coordination with DNOs and ICPs
- Oversight of electrical and utilities works, with civils delivered by specialist teams
- Delivery of:
- Underground cabling
- Battery storage installations
- M&E packages
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within utilities, energy, or infrastructure environments
- Strong background in electrical works, cabling, substations, BESS, and utility installations
- Previous experience working with DNOs, either directly or as an ICP
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
- Strong commercial and financial management capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2 desirable)
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
