OCU Group are looking for dedicated and highly skilledExcavator operatives(Teams).
This position is open to more than one candidate, as our ideal goal is to expand our current teams across Yorkshire and Humber.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks working on our long-term contract with Northern PowerGrid, ensuring that all duties are performed safely to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure compliance with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
· Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
· Ensure all site related incidents are reported.
· Make sure all excavations are at a high standard.
· Be able to excavate on different work streams.
· Responsible for producing high quality results, reports, and feedback.
· Always establish good relationships with customers or members of the public and to be able to communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems.
· You need to be flexible too weekend working and an out-of-hours working.
Skills and Experience:
· NRSWA – Full Course
· Abrasive Wheels
· Excavator Licence 10T Above and Below
· Dumper – Desirable
· Winch – Desirable
· Full UK Driving licence
· Self-motivated and organised
· Team player, and able to work on own initiative
· Must have a professional and positive approach
· Must have previous experience of working on underground electric infrastructure
