OCU Group have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Surveyor who has previous Utilities Networks experience to join the team in Cowley. As the Engineering Surveyor you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the quality of our products and services through thorough and objective Site Surveying and reporting. By conducting Surveying activities producing reports and working closely with the Engineering teams you'll ensure compliance with established standards, regulations and internal procedures driving continuous improvement throughout the organisation. The project types range from large EHV cabling and substation construction to new energy low carbon build projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out topographic surveys of sites establishing control where necessary.
  • Setting out including profiles, batter boards, high accuracy concrete works etc.
  • Carrying out progress surveys of works using GNSS and/or Total Station and by taking measurements and photographs to accurately plot newly installed utility service routes and other related construction works.
  • Creation of as-laid records, editing, validation, publication and submission of service records.
  • Creation, preparation and amendment of AutoCAD drawings and other electronic documentation.
  • Assisting with the preparation and publication of project related and tender documentation.
  • Maintain and check all survey equipment as required.

To be successful in the role you must have proven experience in the following:

  • Land Surveying/Civil Engineering background.
  • Use of Leica GNSS.
