OCU are seeking a Civils Operative to work in the North-West. A Civils Operative is typically responsible for carrying out a range of civil engineering tasks related to Telecoms work.
Responsibilities/Skills:
- Preferably a 2 person Gang
- Must hold a valid NRSWA card with units for excavation and reinstatement
- Must hold a valid Smart Awards card is preferred
- Experience of carrying out excavations within the BT Duct Network
- Experience working with design schematics, duct diagrams and works instructions
- Preferably hold existing BT Openreach accreditations or have previous BT Openreach experience
- Ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs, data recordings and network design maps
- Adhere to all Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental policies
- A digger licence is essential
