The Hire Desk Controller role manages the hire of equipment, machinery, and tools, ensuring availability and timely delivery to customers. This role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating equipment, and dealing with invoice queries.
Key Responsibilities- Responding to customer enquiries about hire, providing quotes, and resolving issues or complaints.
- Processing new hire requests, managing existing orders, and coordinating collections.
- Ensuring the right equipment is available, checking stock levels, and liaising with the workshop for maintenance.
- Maintaining accurate records of hires, processing invoice queries, and assisting with stock control.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
- Knowledge of hire industry practices and relevant software.
