Are you ready to kick-start or grow your career in quantity surveying? At OCU, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. You’ll support the delivery of high-impact construction and utility projects across the UK, helping us lead the way in energy transition and infrastructure innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Support tendering and procurement processes.
- Help administer contracts, variations, and valuations.
- Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for savings.
- Measure and value completed works for interim and final payments.
- Contribute to risk management and mitigation strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Internship or previous experience in a similar role (desirable).
- Strong understanding of cost control, contracts, and procurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant software.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- A team player with a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset.
