What you'll do
You’ll learn how electricity is transmitted safely and efficiently across power networks while supporting engineers on real projects and live infrastructure. Throughout the apprenticeship, you’ll develop practical technical skills in planning, testing, maintaining, and improving power systems, all while working towards a Level 4 qualification that blends classroom learning with hands-on experience.

What we’re looking for
For our Level 4 Apprenticeship, you’ll need A Levels or equivalent, typically 2 A Levels. This programme is designed for those looking to step into higher-level roles that demand specialised knowledge and increased responsibility. You will be enrolled on the Electrical Power Networks Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship, a structured programme lasting approximately 30 months.
