We are looking for an experienced Regional Field Engineer to provide proactive and reactive onsite IT support across multiple UK sites. This role combines hands‑on technical support with project delivery, ensuring technology services remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose across the region.
About the job
- Carry out planned site visits to assess technology performance and implement improvements
- Provide 2nd line onsite support for incidents and service requests
- Deliver onsite IT projects including device refreshes, office moves, and technology upgrades
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues through to completion
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, endpoint devices, and workplace technology
- Act as a regional escalation point for 1st line support teams
- Maintain accurate asset records, documentation, and technical knowledge
- Build strong relationships with site stakeholders and third‑party suppliers
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong experience in a field‑based or 2nd line IT support role
- Strong troubleshooting skills within multi‑site environments
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, endpoint devices, and identity/access management
- Experience delivering onsite IT projects and technical change activities
- Ability to work independently and manage travel across a region
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
