We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to take charge of day-to-day site operations. This role is all about leadership, safety, and coordination. You will be on the ground ensuring that complex civil and electrical works, including cabling under public roads and switching station activities, are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily site activities and subcontractors
  • Ensure work is carried out safely, to specification, and on schedule
  • Monitor civil and electrical installations, including ducting, trenching, and switch station works
  • Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and safety audits
  • Manage resources, plan manpower, and support workflow efficiency
  • Support incident and near-miss reporting, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
  • Ensure all site inductions and permits are in place
  • Promote a culture of zero harm and teamwork

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Civil or electrical site management experience
  • SMSTS / SSSTS
  • IOSH / NEBOSH (preferred)
  • NRSWA Supervisor (desirable)
  • Confined spaces and deep excavation awareness (beneficial)
  • Working at height appreciation
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
