We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team based in the North West. You will work closely with the Client, OCU Delivery teams, and other key stakeholders to successfully deliver projects.
What You'll Do
- Support estimating teams with client tenders and commercial bids to help secure new business, including developing and presenting project proposals and meeting with clients to understand their requirements.
- Produce project plans, budgets, and programmes, agree timescales and costs with clients, manage construction schedules and budgets, and deal with any unforeseen costs throughout project delivery.
- Attend site meetings to monitor progress, act as the main point of contact for clients and site teams, coordinate with third parties to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, and ensure projects are delivered to agreed technical standards.
- Liaise with technical and financial teams, subcontractors, legal representatives, and client stakeholders, oversee final accounts at project completion, and work across both site and office environments.
What You'll Bring
- Degree or HND qualified in Construction or Project Management; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of NEC3, NEC4, and/or FIDIC contracts is desirable, along with experience working within the Water Industry.
- Good understanding of the construction industry, legal documentation, and strong mathematical and IT skills.
- Strong leadership, excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to use initiative and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
