We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Electrician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of HV equipment up to 400kV across substations and industrial sites. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in HV systems and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Install HV equipment including power transformers (up to 400kV), earth switches, disconnectors, CTs, protection panels, battery chargers, and SCADA panels.
- Carry out substation wiring and protection panel installations.
- Install and maintain switchgear from LV to 400kV, including GIS systems.
- Fit and maintain cable containment systems (tray, ladder, etc.).
- Gland, terminate, and test SWA cables.
- Perform electrical wiring within control panels.
- Conduct electrical testing and fault finding to ensure system reliability.
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Proven experience in HV electrical installations and maintenance.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of substation safety systems and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
