OCU is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HV/AIS Operations Manager to join our growing team based in Neath. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities across the business, ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of our services within large Substation projects.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee production, logistics, facilities management, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality delivery of services.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, monitor performance through KPIs, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
- Confident and proactive leader with a proven track record of delivering operational success up to 100 kW substation projects within a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands‑on operational management.
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager or Senior HV Operational leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Demonstrable experience in process improvement and operational optimisation.
- Strong commercial awareness and resource‑management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational management systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or similar methodologies would be highly advantageous.
- Experience within the utilities, power, engineering, construction, infrastructure is essential.
