Description
OCU Group are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Streetworks Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative and coordination skills, ideally with experience within the utilities sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Streetworks notices are prepared, submitted, and maintained in line with current legislation. You will be responsible for distributing daily NRSWA reports, managing jeopardy activities, maintaining client and management systems, and supporting operational teams to ensure works are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and update Streetworks notices in accordance with current NRSWA legislation and compliance requirements.
- Distribute daily NRSWA reports and carry out jeopardy management activities across relevant work orders.
- Monitor client systems and ensure all client-specific requirements are met.
- Liaise with operational teams to identify critical delivery areas and support project planning.
- Receive, record, and maintain accurate data within work management systems.
- Provide regular updates to clients through various communication channels, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Update internal management systems within agreed timescales and contractual requirements.
- Ensure all necessary permits, notices, and documentation are in place before works commence.
- Create and distribute management reports and spreadsheets as required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Streetworks, Utilities, Planning, or Coordination role is desirable.
- Good understanding of NRSWA legislation and compliance procedures.
- Strong IT skills, including experience using management systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive, flexible, and positive "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
