Role:
Octus is looking for an Account Management Associate to join our growing commercial team in London. This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to build a career in account management and revenue generation, as you'll build the commercial skills that lead to a full Account Manager position. Working closely with our Head of EMEA Account Management, you will own a book of autorenewal clients, developing your expertise in retention, relationship management, and identifying growth opportunities across our EMEA client base. This full-time position is located in our London office on a hybrid (3 days in office per week) working model.
Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day management and support of a defined book of EMEA clients on autorenewal contracts, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Handle client questions and queries promptly, including those related to services, user access, training and content.
- Maintain regular client contact touchpoints and proactively schedule outreach to keep relationships active.
- Think commercially about each client relationship, identifying and flagging potential cross-sell opportunities to the broader Account Management and Sales teams.
- Drive high client retention across the book, working to minimise cancellations and resolve at-risk situations early.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Commercial Operations to ensure seamless client service and consistent process adherence.
- Relay client feedback on product and platform experience to the product team.
Requirements:
- Ideal for a graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience, with a strong desire to move into a revenue-generating Account Management role.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets, credit or leveraged finance.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in French or German is a plus.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
