Job Description
What’s in it for you? As an Account Executive, you will become a product and technical expert with a real understanding of our role as an investment manager, and the role of our customers, Financial Advisers. You will form part of a strategic team, working closely with the Business Development Managers to run your region successfully.
For this role, you don’t need to have financial services experience; we will provide you with the training, development and skills you need not only to move into the sector but set you up for a successful career.
The team: The Sales & Customer team are integral to the success of Octopus Investments. It’s their job to provide an industry-leading experience to our customers and generate capital that allows Octopus to be active in various other markets. Teamwork is the name of the game, and the Sales & Customer team is a collegiate, sociable environment with real progression opportunities.
What will you be doing?
- Provide an industry-leading customer experience to our customers
- Work strategically with BDMs in your region, contributing to the success of your region
- Become a product expert and use those skills to think commercially for the benefit of our customers and your region
Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience working in a sales, account executive, customer success or similar style role
- A consultative, customer-focused approach to your work
- A team player, who is able to think strategically
- You’re a strong communicator, able to make the complex sound straightforward
