Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Product Lead to own our Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) offering. This senior role combines product strategy, governance, and cross-functional leadership, ideal for someone experienced in financial services and passionate about creating impactful financial products.
You will work closely with the Co-Head of Retail and other leaders to shape the future of our EIS proposition, ensuring it remains competitive, compliant, and aligned with investor needs.
Responsibilities
- Own the EIS Product Strategy: Develop and manage the lifecycle of our EIS product line.
- Drive Product Governance: Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and investment teams for seamless product oversight.
- Engage Stakeholders: Serve as the expert on EIS and product governance, providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor market, competitor, and regulatory developments to keep our products innovative and compliant.
- Champion the Customer: Design products with transparency, clarity, and investor value in mind.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to enhance product performance, governance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience in product management or governance within financial services.
- Experience with EIS or similar tax-advantaged investments (e.g., VCTs, BR).
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on delivery approach.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams managing complex portfolios.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Desired Experience:
- Background in investment management , wealth management , or financial product development .
- Experience leading governance or regulatory change initiatives .
- Familiarity with B2B2C models and investor platforms.
