Overview
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Roofer/Roofer’s mate to join our ever-growing Solar PV installation team across the UK. Help us install Solar PV across the nation, inspire and assist our customers, and provide the highest level of customer service they deserve. This role is with Octopus Energy Services, supporting a growth plan that uses smart technology hardware for smart meters and low carbon technologies in UK homes.

What you’ll do
- Work includes but is not limited to the movement and lifting of materials, running cables/conduit, grinding tiles, waste removal, and assisting the Electrician in Solar installation.
What you’ll need
- Proven experience as a Roofer’s labourer/Roofer’s mate
- Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs
- Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and safety practices
- Experience working at height
What we offer
- £30,000 basic salary and overtime available (+ London weighting if living within M25)
- Salary uplift upon completion of training and mentoring
- £2,500 annual bonus based on KPIs
