We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Octopus Energy, a leading manufacturer of heat pumps. The successful candidate will be responsible for packing and preparing heat pump units and components for shipment, ensuring all products meet our quality standards and are securely packaged for delivery to our customers.
What you'll do
- Pack heat pump units and components according to company standards and specifications.
- Use appropriate packing materials to secure products and prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages with correct shipping information and product details.
- Verify product quantities and descriptions before packaging.
- Inspect products for defects or damages prior to packaging.
- Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the quality team immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of packed products and shipping details.
- Assist in managing packing supplies inventory and notify the supervisor when supplies are low.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while handling and packaging products.

What you'll need
