In this role you will design and build scalable backend systems and APIs to power Octopus Electric Vehicles’ EV leasing platform.
You will work in cross-functional teams to integrate services, evolve data models, and ensure maintainable code that supports rapid product development.

Responsibilities
- Design and build robust APIs and integrate internal/third-party services to automate core processes
- Architect and evolve backend systems and data models for performance, scalability and durability
- Work with multiple data sources (relational and No SQL) and design expressive schemas
- Contribute to frontend applications when needed to shape user experiences
- Prioritize code quality, maintainability and long-term health of the systems
- Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and raise the team's overall capability
