Overview
In this role you will build and polish web experiences for Octopus Fleet and Electroverse, bridging design and engineering to deliver accessible, on-brand interfaces.
You’ll evolve a shared component library into a mature design system and contribute high-quality UI across marketing pages and core apps.
You’ll refine micro-interactions and translate rough ideas from Figma into production-ready code, collaborating with designers, PMs, and engineers.

Responsibilities
- Concept, prototype, and build web experiences for Octopus Fleet and Electroverse (marketing pages, landing pages, core app UI)
- Evolve shared component library into a mature design system with robust components and conventions
- Refine micro-interactions, motion, and visual polish in web apps
- Translate rough inputs (Figma sketches/prototypes) into clean, accessible code
- Collaborate directly with designers, product managers, and engineers to bridge design intent and shipped code
- Key requirements
- 2+ years of front-end development, design engineering, or creative tech
- AI-native workflow with AI-assisted tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot or equivalent)
- Production React fluency with contribution to shared repositories
- Design system experience and willingness to elevate a component library
- Portfolio demonstrating visual craft, motion/animation, or design system work
- UI design fundamentals (composition, layout, typography, easing)
- Accessibility knowledge up to WCAG 2.1 AA
