Overview
As AM Operations Director, you will design and embed the Asset Management operating framework to scale OEGEN’s asset portfolio.
You will align governance, reporting, and owner accountability across funds and platforms, reducing escalations and enabling fast decisions.
You’ll drive cross-functional improvements, supplier governance, and risk visibility to protect value as the portfolio grows.
This role sits at the heart of a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and scalable, tech-enabled ways of working.
You’ll help shape how we manage complex assets and adapt to market and regulatory changes.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the core operating framework for Asset Management across funds, assets and platforms
- Oversee governance, directorships and other Asset Management governance arrangements
- Act as the senior Asset Management representative for data and reporting systems
- Drive consistent implementation of supplier and contractor performance framework
- Oversee supplier onboarding and assurance processes
- Own the Asset Management risk-management framework and consolidated risk reporting
- Lead lessons-learned and continuous-improvement process
- Provide oversight of central processes relying on Asset Management input
- Identify market, technology or operating model changes and propose practical adaptations
- Key requirements
- Senior Manager or Director level, with 10-15 years’ experience in renewable energy or comparable physical infrastructure
- Experience in asset management, plus portfolio operations/transformation/COO-type role
- Proven ability to build or improve portfolio-wide processes and operating frameworks
- Experience delivering systems such as contractor governance, risk reporting, supplier assurance, MI or cross-functional programs
- Strong understanding of operating renewable assets, third-party asset management, suppliers, contracts, risk and governance
- Commercial judgement and pragmatism to balance controls and value
- Experience working across technical, finance, legal, data, fund-management and investment teams with senior stakeholders
- Strong programme-delivery skills with clear ownership and milestones
- Hands-on problem-solving while focusing on high-impact issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication for senior management, Boards and investors
