About the role
This Commercial Manager role will be focused on the successful execution and optimisation of our strategic commercial goals. Reporting into the Commercial Strategy Manager, you will be integral in delivering and improving the commercial backbone of Electroverse as we continue to scale.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate closely with the wider commercial and partnerships teams to support contract execution for strategic OEM, Fleet, and Charging Point Operator (CPO) partnerships, translating contractual obligations to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Get involved with supplier negotiations to ensure we have the best deals on the best solutions for our evolving needs.
- Conduct analysis of key commercial metrics, including pricing models, customer segments, and partner performance, to identify areas for margin improvement and growth.
- Assist in researching and analysing emerging market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities to provide an informed commercial perspective to strategic planning.
- Take on any other interesting challenges and opportunities that are guaranteed to pop up along the way!
What you’ll need:
- Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to make judgement calls with limited information.
- Analytically and numerically confident, comfortable with building models and business cases to support commercial decisions.
- Experience in supplier or customer negotiation, with an interest in structuring and delivering deals that create long‑term value.
- Ideally, a background involving detailed contract negotiation, financial modelling, and ownership of commercial performance, possibly from a scale‑up or high‑performing commercial team.
- Happy to operate autonomously in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment with often minimal organisational structure or process.
- Not afraid to ask for help or to brainstorm with others, but also enjoys a high degree of autonomy and can be defined as a self‑starter.
- Truly values‑led, passionate about decarbonisation and the transition to electric vehicles.
