In this role you drive the end-to-end production of institutional investor reports and oversee fund operations within a high-growth securitisation environment. You’ll own data and reporting workflows, partnering with Finance, Data and Operations to keep funding facilities on track. You contribute to real-time asset tracking, covenant monitoring and audit readiness, shaping scalable processes for a rapidly expanding leasing business. This is a hands-on role in a mission-driven team at Octopus, with a clear impact on how capital supports greener mobility.

Responsibilities

  • Produce end-to-end institutional investor reports and facility utilisation tracking
  • Validate and manage fund sweeps, cash operations, and buyback settlements
  • Maintain asset lifecycle trackers with real-time visibility on reserves and borrowing base
  • Monitor covenants and triggers, flagging breaches to the team
  • Lead reconciliations between loan-level data tapes and facility reports for audits
  • Collaborate with Finance, Data, and Operations to validate data workflows and drive process improvements

Key requirements

  • Degree in Finance or related discipline; 1–3 years experience in finance or handling large datasets
  • Experience building/auditing/maintaining spreadsheet-based models and trackers
  • Demonstrated ownership of a reporting deliverable from start to finish
  • Self-driven problem-solving mindset; ability to learn new financial structures quickly
  • Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting data-driven findings
  • Motivation to apply financial and technical skills to funding the EV transition
