To support our growth and long-term ownership of energy assets, we are expanding our team.

About the role

We are looking for an Asset Management Director to drive asset performance within one of OEGEN’s core funds. Working with the broader asset management and fund management teams, the successful candidate will understand the fund’s strategic priorities and direct asset management efforts accordingly.

The role involves executing on set priorities, managing issues, risks, and optimization workstreams, leveraging third-party support, and supporting investment decisions. The position is based in London, with flexible and remote work options, and reports to the Head of Asset Management.

What you\’ll do

  • Lead a team responsible for asset performance and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Fund Product Head on fund performance.
  • Prioritize workstreams based on the fund’s needs.
  • Participate as a key member of the Asset Board with decision-making authority.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and internal/external reporting.
  • Coordinate with technical and construction teams and external support as needed.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and develop market knowledge.
  • Support new investments, construction, and operations, including risk management and contracting strategies.

What you\’ll need

  • Approximately 15 years of experience in commercial or financial roles, preferably in renewable fund management.
  • Strong commercial skills, experience managing issue resolution, and leveraging finance and legal expertise.
  • Extensive industry network and influence within supply chains.
  • Deep knowledge of renewables market operations, contractual frameworks, and technical assumptions.
  • Experience in renewable asset management, performance indicators, and risk measures.
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects.
  • Strong financial and numerical acumen.
